     With the continuous development of fiber technology, as well as the emergence and commercialization of 793nm high-power pumped laser, the industry demand for fiber lasers and amplifiers in the field of human eye safe wavelength is growing rapidly. It is difficult to produce laser with human eye safe wavelength using traditional technology. And thulium-doped (Tm) fiber lasers are playing an increasingly important role in this emerging market due to their unique advantages.

 

    The newly developed 793nm EEL chip parameters are as follows: 10W CW output power under 190um Emitter width, electro-optic efficiency ~58%, COD power >20W, life > 50000 hours, realizing the domestic replacement, meeting the national demand, is currently being shipped in batch, achieving good economic benefits.
